NBA Daily Fantasy Playbook – 12/4

John Wall

Sorry about the lack of NBA daily fantasy basketball this week. Sometimes there’s just not enough hours in a day to get stuff. I promise to make it up to you with a killer lineup tonight and some really nice plays across the board. Let’s get it going and keep on building on our success this season.

*note: all my prices are according to DraftKings

Point Guard

John Wall ($8,300)

Wall might be the best fantasy basketball player no named Paul George this week. He’s coming off back to back 60+ point fantasy games, and there’s nothing to think he’s going to slow down tonight. He will be highly owned but for good reason. Pay up for the man.

Brandon Knight ($7,700)

Knight hasn’t been playing great as out lately, but I think this is the game that he gets it right back on track. I think everyone will be on Wall, so Knight makes for a sneaky GPP play in the same game. Being able to pencil him for at least 30 with an upside for 60 is also never a bad choice for your cash games. He’ll be low owned as well.

Shooting Guard

Kobe Bryant ($5,900)

The farewell tour is in full effect for Kobe. He says that he wants to play in Rio for the Olympics next year, but we’ll see how the old man’s body holds up until then. Kobe is coming off back to back 30+ point fantasy games, so he’s doing his best to give the fans a show. He’ll need to shoot a ton tonight to give the Lakers any hope of winning, and that’s Kobe’s specialty. Love him at this salary.

Kyle Korver ($4,800)

I’m not a fan of Korver unless I’m looking for a hail mary in DFS. Well that is exactly what I’m going for tonight and it doesn’t hurt against the Lakers. It’s more a gut call than anything, but I’m feeling good that Korver can knock down some from deep tonight.

Small Forward

LeBron James ($10,000)

Bron is the only high priced guy I’m playing tonight. I love my Pelicans, but there isn’t a soul that can slow him down besides Anthony Davis tonight. The thing is, AD will be focused on Kevin Love down low and LeBron is going to LeBron like things tonight.

Jared Dudley ($3,800)

Dudley will be getting a ton of minutes tonight because the Suns run a small lineup. He’s big enough to even play some power forward if they need him to. He’s my punt tonight since there isn’t a whole lot else at the position tonight.

Power Forward

Terrence Jones ($4,900)

No Dwight Howard means big minutes for Jones. He’s my number one value play because of the volume and minutes he should see tonight.

Dirk Nowitzki ($6,900)

The old man has been money lately and I expect that to continue with no Dwight Howard tonight. He’ll be able to stretch the floor and hit those Dirk-like shots we have gotten used to seeing over his career.

Center

Greg Monroe($6,900)/Andre Drummond ($9,000)

I ‘m liking Monroe tonight over Drummond, but I love the narrative behind this one. Revenge game versus breakout season. Sign me up for that!
