Daily Fantasy Basketball Playbook – 11/20

bledsoe-blog

With eleven games on the hardwood tonight, there is going to be a lot of deep rosters tonight in NBA DFS. Russell Westbrook continues to shine with the absence of Kevin Durant. Anthony Davis ‘s  status is up in the air tonight, but it looks like he will play. Everything else appears to be normal, but be on the lookout for last minute scratches.

*note: all of my prices are according to DraftKings

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook ($12,300)

I’m done fading Westbrook. Logically, it doesn’t make sense to pay this much salary for one player. But if I’ve learned anything about Russ, it’s that he defies all logic. I’ve never seen someone consistently hit over value when they cost 1/5 of your salary. Dude is a monster.

Kyle Lowry ($8,100)

Brandon Knight torched the Lakers on Monday, so it’s hard to imagine a scenario where Lowry doesn’t do something similar. Kobe Bryant should be back tonight, and that means he’ll be looking to contain DeMar DeRozan. Lowry should get a ton of opportunities tonight to put up some serious fantasy points. He’s a great fade from Westbrook but still can finish with similar fantasy points.

Shooting Guard

C.J. McCollum ($6,500)

McCollum is a sneaky play tonight for me. The Clippers are coming off of a heartbreaking loss last night, and they really struggled with the tempo of Golden State when they used their speed. The same can be said tonight for this Portland backcourt. McCollum is my guy though because of his price tag and his ability to create his own shot.

Eric Bledsoe ($8,400)

If I’m fading Curry, Harden, and Westbrook, then Bledsoe is the guy I’m gravitating towards tonight. He’s been playing at a very high level, and he should be able to torch the Nuggets backcourt tonight. He’s been hitting around value pretty consistently, and that’s all you want in cash games.

Small Forward

Nicolas Batum ($7,000)

*insert anyone playing the Sixers here* With not much else at the position tonight to love, Batum makes for a great play at a reasonable salary.

Jeff Green ($3,900)

I was all over Green earlier in the week, and not much has changed by now. His salary hasn’t changed since then, and the Rockets don’t have anyone at the position to guard him. Memphis has made a point to let him take more shots, and Green makes for a sneaky good play tonight for a cheap price.

Power Forward

Kenneth Faried ($6,000)

This is my GPP guy tonight. Darrell Arthur is banged up and Faried should get all the minutes he can handle. I know he was a little banged up, but he should still play heavy minutes to hit value. He’s been hovering around the 30 point mark.

Blake Griffin ($9,600)

Griffin is coming off two monster games in a row. After last nights loss to the Warriors, I think he will play with a vengeance against the Trail Blazers who don’t have the frontcourt to contain him. He’s expensive but I like him over Anthony Davis and the higher priced big men tonight.

Center

Al Jefferson ($6,000)

I like Jefferson because his salary is so low…and he’s playing the Sixers. The Bobcats are looking to get him more involved in the post, and I think that’s exactly what they do tonight.

Jonas Valanciunas ($5,700)

I know I’m picking on the bad teams, but if it works then so be it. He had a dip in his production lately, but he still have been solid enough to hit around five times his value. I think that is his floor tonight and why I’m getting him in my lineups at such a cheap price.
