Matthew Stafford

Welcome to Own The Play Week 11. Making lineups work can be a difficult and arduous task. One must isolate the guys that will outperform their salary and thus providing value. This week we can find value at every position. Some guys are very affordable and make great players to pair with the elite studs. Lets find the value and make lineups that win on OwnThePlay.com!

Matthew Stafford Detroit Lions $6,800

A week ago the Detroit Lions offense played poorly but have shown flashes of playing well especially at home. This week at home they face a Oakland Raiders secondary that has been torched all season. They are currently allowing the 6th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Oakland Raiders offense can put up points as well which should force the Lions to need to pass for four quarters. This could be one the best performances Stafford puts up all season. Last time Stafford had to be utilized as much as he may be Sunday was against the Chicago Bears when he produced 33.9 fantasy points.

Marcus Mariota Tennessee Titans $6,100
at Jacksonville Jaguars

Marcus Mariota is the best option if you want to save at quarterback this week. He is cheaper than Case Keenum by $100, who was just named the starter in St. Louis. He is on the road to face a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that is tied for 6th most fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. You may be worried to trust this rookie on the road but his two best games of the season have been on the road. He put 24.96 against the Buccaneers and 33.34 against the Saints; two other defenses that have been awful against the pass. He’s also healthy and can utilize his legs to garner value. Mariota is good for cash and GPP contests this week.

Charcandrick West Kansas City Chiefs $6,300
at San Diego Chargers

Andy Reid believed it was Charcandrick West and not Knile Davis was the running back to take over when Jamaal Charles went down for the season. It was a little bumpy at first but West has proven Reid to look really smart. He has had three straight weeks scoring 20 plus fantasy points. This week he is on the road to face a Chargers defense that has been gashed all season by opposing running backs.San Diego has given up the most fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Danny Woodhead San Diego Chargers $4,800
vs Kansas City Chiefs

Danny Woodhead is the running back to use this week. The Kansas City Chiefs are allowing the 5th most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Woodhead has become the go to option for Philip Rivers in the passing game as well. The loss of Keenan Allen was a big one to this offense and Woodhead has stepped up the production that was already impressive. He has 20 plus points in two of his last three games. Expect another strong perfomace this Sunday at home.

Steve Johnson San Diego Chargers $5,000
vs Kansas City Chiefs

Last time we saw the Chargers, Johnson was getting peppered with targets on Monday Night Football. Malcom Floyd got hurt early in the game and never returned. There is a chance he plays through his torn labrum. Either way Johnson has a ton of potential. He should continue to get peppered with targets in an offense that throws the ball all over the field. The Chiefs have allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers and there is no reason for that to change this week. Dontrelle Inman is very tempting at $3,500 if Malcom Floyd is out.

Golden Tate Detroit Lions $4,300
vs Oakland Raiders

Golden Tate has not lived up to what many thought he would be this season but this provides an opportunity for a nice game. All year-long the Raiders have been torched by tight ends, especially over the middle of the field. While Tate is not a tight end, he can utilize the middle of the field like tight ends typically do. Emmanuel Sanders torched the Raiders with 9 catches and 111 yards. Stafford can take advantage of a bad secondary and should utilize Tate on Sunday.

Kyle Rudolph Minnesota Vikings $3,900
vs Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have been struggling on the defensive side of the ball especially in the secondary. The tight end has been really productive as of late as well. They have give up double-digit fantasy points to opposing tight ends the past three of the last four weeks and the one that want under was an 8 points. With Stefon Diggs and Mike Wallace garnering the majority of the attention outside, Rudolph could have a very nice game this week.

Garrett Celek San Francisco 49ers $2,500
at Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks defense has been tough for the most part this season. However, they have consistently been had by opposing tight ends, allowing the 4th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Vernon Davis had 4 catches for 61 yards last time the 49ers played the Seahawks in a game where they did very little offensively. Davis has been traded and Garrett Celek has assumed the starting role. In his last game Celek had two touchdowns. Celek has the potential to produce a nice game at a very affordable price.

Tennessee Titans $2,500
at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Tennessee Titans have been solid on defense for a majority of the season and specifically against the pass. This week they are on the road to face a Jacksonville Jaguars team that is in the bottom third of the NFL in terms of points scored per game. Blake Bortles has an interception in every game but two this season. Three of those games were multiple interception games. Expect the Titans to keep the Jaguars offense in check and have an opportunity to force a couple turnovers. More than making their value.
