Cincinnati Bengals -4 vs Kansas City Chiefs

This is a great spot for the Bengals. They are home to face a Kansas City Chiefs, who are on a short week on the road yet again. The offense for the Bengals looks great. Andy Dalton has been solid and has a ton of weapons including A.J. Green, Marvin Jones, and Tyler Eifert. While Dalton is far from Aaron Rodgers, I expect the offense to put up points in a big way and cover the 4 point spread. Alex Smith is 3-40-1 against teams that score more than 24 points. I expect the Bengals to score a minimum of 24. Take the Bengals in this one.

San Francisco 49ers +9 vs Green Bay Packers

The Packers are on the road for the first time since Week 1. The 49ers return home after being embarrassed in both Pittsburgh and Arizona. The 49ers played much better in their home opener and I expect to see an improvement in their play. Aaron Rodgers has played incredibly well. I expect the Packers to be a little sluggish. It may take a late score but San Francisco will cover the 9 point spread.

Minnesota Vikings +6.5 at Denver Broncos

The line opened at Vikings +4.5 and has ballooned to +6.5. The Broncos can stop the run pretty well, which would be my biggest concern around the Vikings being able to do enough to cover the spread. The passing game does have talent, though they haven’t showed it as of yet. The Broncos are 3-0 and have covered the spread in each game. They needed a late defensive in two of the three games to seal the victory. It catches up with them this week. I think the Broncos win but it’s a field goal game when it’s all said and done.

Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets under 41.5

This game will be taking place in London, England and will start 9:30 eastern time. NFL players are creatures of habit and starting three hours early tends to throw them out of rhythm. Just ask west coast teams traveling to the eastern time zone. The Dolphins have issues scoring in Miami and are facing one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Jets will likely not have Eric Decker or Chris Ivory for this game. Take the under. The first half under makes a ton of sense if you want to dabble.

Chicago Bears +3 vs Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders are 2-14 in their last 16 road games. While they have impressed in the past couple weeks, including getting their first road win since 2013 against the Cleveland Browns. They are also favored on the road for the first time in 27 games. It’s hard to bet on a Jimmy Clausen lead team, but it’s the right side. The Raiders get destroyed by the opposing tight end and Martellus Bennett should show up in a big way in this one. It also features a return of Alshon Jeffery, who will be back to help this offense. The defense lost some pieces but they should be able to do enough to not only cover and the spread but get the win.
