Draftkings Daily Fantasy NASCAR: 2015 COKE ZERO 400

nascar_draftkings

Another week, another NASCAR race which means more daily fantasy NASCAR games on Draftkings. We return to one of the most famous superspeedways, Daytona International Speedway. This is one of those tracks where all the usual suspects that run near the top ten every week duke it out to take home the checkered flag. Last week’s road course predictions didn’t go so well as some of the drivers i recommended and selected in my lineups, didn’t finish the race. I’ve said before when drivers don’t finish races, your lineups are pretty much toast. So hopefully I can avoid those landmines with my picks this week.

Starting with who Vegas thinks will win the race, we look to none other than Dale Earnhardt Jr. ($12,300). Earnhardt always brings it at the super speedways and his price reflects that. Jimmie Johnson ($11,800) and Jeff Gordon ($11,700) are right behind Dale Jr as far as favorites to win. Also give some consideration to Kurt Busch ($11,400) and Joey Logano ($11,200).

Skipping down a tier in pricing may be where the real value is. Some guys in this area that are cheaper than the top guys, yet have just as much of a chance to win include Kyle Busch ($10,800), Carl Edwards ($10,700) and Jamie McMurray ($10,200).

You will almost always have to always go thrift store shopping for drivers to fit in the higher priced drivers that Vegas likes more. Ryan Newman ($9,700), Austin Dillon ($9,600), Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ($9,100) and Casey Mears ($8,700) are all worth a shot for the prices. If you REALLY want to go cheap look to Sam Hornish Jr. ($7,900) or Alex Bowman ($7,100) this week.

If you don’t have a Draftkings account yet you can sign up here, and follow me on twitter to ask me any questions. Best of luck this weekend!
