Draftkings Daily Fantasy NASCAR: 2015 TOYOTA-SAVEMART 350

Its time to fire up the daily fantasy NASCAR engines once again on Draftkings. This week will be a good one as we get a road course race at Sonoma Raceway. Track history will definitely be an important factor as you select your drivers this week, because it’s not your typical course. Many of the guys you see in the top 10 on a regular basis may not fare as well on road courses. Some of the “value” drivers that we see each week could easily end up winning this thing. My Last driver picks went pretty well, and I’m looking for a repeat performance. Its time for the rubber to meet the road, and get on with the picks.

Vegas odds is where we start and we have four guys at the top with the same odds, and all have good track history at Sonoma Raceway. Jeff Gordon ($11,300), Kevin Harvick ($13,900), Kurt Busch ($12,400) and Martin Truex Jr ($11,200) are all favorites to win the race. Just below them is AJ Allmendinger ($8,300). Not only did Allmendinger win the pole, but presents a MAJOR value at his price. He is virtually a must play.

Looking toward the mid price drivers there are a few names to note. Carl Edwards ($10,500) is a great choice as he has great track history at Sonoma Raceway and has decent odds to win. Tony Stewart ($9,400) is also a decent pick. Due to his more recent performances I would say he represents a better tournament play than cash game play.

Now we come to the value drivers, and this week this looks to be a great pool of drivers, I mentioned Allmendinger earlier as a must play, but you could also say the same for Clint Bowyer ($8,900). He starts just outside the top 5 on the pole, has decent odds to win and has a great track history here. Casey Mears ($7,600) and David Gilliland ($7,400) also make for nice plays to not only save some salary, but have a legitimate shot to win the race.
