Draftkings Daily Fantasy NASCAR: QUICKEN LOANS 400

Its time to starts the engines again for another week of Daily Fantasy NASCAR at Draftkings. This weeks race takes place in Michigan and should once again provide some exciting Sunday afternoon sweats for all that play. I stated before that making sure a driver actually finishes the race may be the most important aspect of daily fantasy NASCAR. I was once again burned last week by a couple of drivers I had rostered that either had car trouble or were involved in wrecks. That didn’t cost me everything, since i run at least two or three lineups, but it prevented me from profiting. So lets look at some drivers that may bring you home some cash this weekend.

Starting off looking at Vegas odds and driver history at this track. Kevin Harvick ($13,900)is the obvious choice as he is the favorite to win, and has a fantastic track record here. He is followed by the usual suspects near the top in Jimmy Johnson ($13,00), Dale Earnhardt Jr. ($11,900) and Martin Truex Jr. ($11,500) who not only won last weeks race, but has been running near the top all season.

Jumping down a tier in drivers’ salary I think Joey Logano ($11,200), Jeff Gordon ($11,100) and Matt Kenseth ($11,000) all make for solid plays and they usually are able to finish races. Kasey Kahne ($10,800) also looks to be a good value, and is starting on the pole for this race. Paul Menard($9,700) is also worth a look.

If you are looking for super cheap, dark horse drivers there are always some good ones to take a chance on. I will say however some of these guys in in the “Cheap” seem to be the ones that tend to burn me by not finishing the races consistently. Hints why they are probably so cheap, but you have to roster at least one or two to fill out a decent looking lineup. Anyway guys in this range i like this week include Ryan Newman (($9,600), Greg Biffle ($9,400), A.J. Allmendinger ($7,800), Casey Mears ($7,500) and Ty Dillon ($7,700).
