Draftkings Daily Fantasy NASCAR: Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400

nascar_draftkings

Its that time again. Time for another week of daily fantasy NASCAR action. We are still trying to learn how to play this game as it is brand new to Draftkings. My recommendations last week weren’t too bad especially the chalk pick of Jimmy Johnson winning the race. However regardless of how good the driver you pick is, or where is is in the starting lineup, maybe the most important part of daily fantasy NASCAR is actually finishing the race. So keep that in mind as we head into Pocono this week, and look at driver’s average finishes.

Lets start where we always do and that’s Vegas odds.  Its the usual suspects at the top, however one name to keep in mind is Dale Earnhardt Jr ($12,200). He has a great history at this track and comes at a slight discount compared to Kevin Harvick ($14,000) and Jimmie Johnson ($13,400). Other drivers to take a look at this week that I feel could end up in the top 10 and have a shot to win the race include Denny Hamlin ($11,600), Joey Logano (11,500) and Kurt Busch (11,000).

Mid priced guys in good spots this week include. Kasey Kahne (10,800), Kyle Larson ($10,100) and Greg Biffle ($9,000). Biffle is another driver that has a pretty good track record at Pocono. As always you will have to roster a couple of “longshots” to win the race. Maybe not as much as in MMA, but it still holds true that any driver could win at pretty much any track. A few names to remember in this price range are Austin Dillon ($8,900), Paul Menard ($8,700) and Aric Almirola ($8,300).

If you don’t have a Draftkings account yet you can sign up here, and follow me on twitter to ask me any questions. I’m always down to discuss NASCAR or anything else! Best of luck this weekend!
