DraftKings Daily Fantasy MMA: UFC FIGHT NIGHT 68 HENDERSON VS. BOETSCH

UFC

Another week, another UFC event, which means tons of Daily Fantasy MMA action on Draftkings. Before we get to the action, let’s do a little recap. Last week my predictions went pretty well. However I ended up losing money because I entered too many lineups. In the past I entered several lineups to try and hedge but I have found myself losing more that way. So this week I will try a new strategy of only 1 or 2 cash game lineups and then throw out a handful of cheap entry GPP lineups. This weeks event features some interesting match ups, especially at the top with 45 year old Dan Henderson taking on Tim Boetch in the main event, as well as Matt Mitrione and Ben Rothwell clashing in a heavyweight showdown which as we have learned always produce fireworks.

This week will be interesting as far as constructing a lineup goes. The price range for fighters ranges from 8.7K to 10.7K. That means that there is a decent shot at being able to roster at least four Vegas favorites. However the fighter price points also mean that Vegas is seeing many of these fights as being close, which

Vegas has only 2 fights, as of this writing, that are near -200 favorites. Thats pretty scary considering what we are used to in most UFC  events. Bankroll management will play a big role in success for daily fantasy MMA players on Draftkings this week. Main eventer Tim Boetsch ($10,400) and Joe Proctor ($10,300) are the biggest favorites heading into this card. As I said earlier I feel you should be able to fit in at least 4 Vegas  favorites with the pricing this week. Other guys currently favored by Vegas but are a bit closer include Ricardo Abreu ($10,500), Joe Soto ($10,200) and Matt Mitrione ($10,500). There are plenty of other fighters to look at as well and they are all around the same price range.

As far as underdogs go, there are a couple of names I may take a chance on this week. Jose Quinonez ($8,800), Shawn Jordan ($9,700) and Ben Rothwell ($9,100) are definitely some guys that have a shot at winning and Vegas thinks so as well. The lines for the fights these three underdogs are involved in are some of the closest on the card.
