Draftkings Daily Fantasy NASCAR: FedEx 400

nascar_draftkings

Well last weeks first ever daily fantasy NASCAR event for Draftkings was interesting to say the least. The scoring in the end was very interesting. I read where some people had four out of five drivers finish in the top 10 yet didn’t seem to cash in GPPs. That just doesn’t seem right to me and it may be something that Draftkings needs to look at and considering changing in the future. Another interesting factore was the crazy swings in standings. For example One of my lineups was in 1st place in a medium sized GPP one minute and a minute later i was near the bottom of the standings. I didn’t have a good week, but that won’t stop me from coming back and playing again this week.

Similar to the way I start looking at Daily Fantasy MMA, I’m going to start by looking at the Vegas odds and what top drivers they like this week.It seems like you can fit at least three top drivers in your lineups with the pricing Draftkings is offering. That being said it is looking like Jimmy Johnson ($13,000) is a favorite to be in your Draftkings lineups. Jeff Gordon ($11,700) Matt Kenseth ($11,200), Kyle Busch ($10,300), and Martin Truex Jr. ($10,200) all look like great plays this week and are fairly priced.

There are some solid mid priced drivers to look at as well if you decide to go more of the all around lineup instead of “stars and scrubs.” Tony Stewart ($9,200), Greg Biffle ($8,800) and Aric Almirola ($8,000) all will be in the hunt in this race.

If you are looking to save some salary space and need some bargains that could pull off the upset, or simply just score you some points, there are a couple of guys to consider this week. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ($7,800), Trevor Bayne ($7,700), Brian Scott ($7,000) and Justin Allgaier ($7,000).

If you don’t have a Draftkings account yet you can sign up here, and follow me on twitter to ask me any questions. Best of luck this weekend!
