DraftKings Daily Fantasy MMA: UFC Fight Night 67: Alves vs. Condit

UFC

I’m back for another week of great Daily Fantasy MMA action on Draftkings for UFC Fight Night 67 Alves vs. Condit. This event takes place in Brazil. My predictions last week were pretty solid, however i learned a valuable lesson. That lesson is pay attention to MMA news right up until the fights start. The bout between Rose Namajunas and Nina Ansaroff was canceled due to Ansaroff being sick shortly before the fights started. I had a ton of exposure to both of these fighters which gave me some zero’s. Draftkings also locked the lineups before the event actually started making it impossible to replace them. So make sure to monitor news of the fights all the way up to bell time. That being said the past is the past. Lets look forward to this event.

At first glance when beginning to build lineups this week i noticed two things. First off is the pricing. Regardless of who you decide to roll out in your lineups it looks like it will be very easy to construct a lineup featuring 4 vegas favorites. The second thing i noticed is that besides a handful of fighters, the Vegas lines are all pretty close, which means it could be hard to predict some of the winners of these fights.

Looking at the vegas odds there are a couple big favorites and it’s clear you will want to build your lineup around them. This includes Mirsad Bektic ($9,800), Nicolas Dalby ($9,800) and Charles Oliveira ($11,400). There are a couple of other decent sized favorites on this card but I would focus building around these three especially Bektic and Oliveira.

After that there are a ton of mid to low priced fighters i like including Tom Breese ($9,500), Juliana Lima ($9,700) just to name a few. As far as looking at underdogs, I think Tiago Alves ($8,300), KJ Noons ($9,400)  and Wilson Reis ($9,300)  have at least a chance to get you some points and maybe steal a win.

If you don’t have a Draftkings account yet you can sign up here, and follow me on twitter to ask me any questions. Best of luck this weekend!
