Daily Fantasy NBA Playbook: 03/25

Andrew Wiggins

Just like most Wednesdays, we have a nice selection of matchups with 13 games going in daily fantasy basketball tonight. For injury news, as of this afternoon, Gordon Hayward, Hassan Whiteside and Kyle Lowry are doubtful. Looks like Brandon Knight will be a game time decision and Dwight Howard is back in action. The Pelicans are also getting back Tyreke Evans and Omer Asik. So onto my FanDuel picks for tonight.

Guards:

Mike Conley – $5,800

I like Conley tonight for this price going against the Cavs. He took it easy against the Knicks after his ankle injury but was still able to drop 21 points and 9 assists the game before against the Blazers. He’s not the most exciting pick tonight but for this price range you could do a lot worse gambling on someone else.

Isaiah Thomas – $7,300

Going out on a limb with this one despite my reasoning for Conley above. He’s been out for two weeks after his injury against the Heat. Well the Celtics play the Heat again tonight with both teams trying to cling to their playoff spot. I’m expecting a Thomas revenge game and to put up big numbers. Hopefully I don’t fall flat on my face with this one.

Forwards:

Andrew Wiggins – $6,000

Well he’s been consistent for the Wolves in one regard, health. With so many players out or questionable tonight, Wiggins should have some nice opportunities against the Lakers. The former Kansas star brings nice balance to your line up bringing points, assists, rebounds, a high shooting clip, and steals or blocks on a given night. I’m expecting Wiggins to start heating up as the season gets closer to ending.

Kevin Love – $7,300

Well I guess the theme for tonight is I’m going out for the cheaper but riskier guys. It’s not the safest play but you pair these guys with a couple higher priced and safer options and it could be a good night. Love has been anything but consistent lately but with a match up against the Grizzlies tonight, I expect this game to bring a lot of energy. The third wheel in the group could see a big game tonight, at least he brings 3-pt shooting and rebounds.

Center:

Al Horford – $7,400

He continues to be one of my favorite options for his pricing area. His season average is 15/7/3 including a block per game, shooting over 50%, and over 75% from the free throw line. Those aren’t big time stats but, again, at this range he’s a good pick against the Magic tonight.
