Week 16 QB Rankings, without Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler continues to be a dominant QB1 even when facing tough competition.

Jay Cutler is believed to be benched this week, with Jimmy Clausen starting for the Bears

This season has shown us that even the 3rd-string quarterback may be a starter for multiple weeks in the NFL, and our Week 16 QB rankings are littered with such stories. Our advice on all of them is to pass unless you are absolutely desperate. If you are reading this you are likely in the playoffs in at least one of your leagues; stick to the team that got you there and pass on these new starters. Remember Johnny Manziel from last week? Enough said.

If you’d like to see a full list of our top thirty-five quarterbacks for Week 15, go ahead and scroll to the bottom of the page. But first, here are our quick takes on a few of those quarterbacks.

Aaron Rodgers will bounce back from a disappointing week, and the matchup this week against the Buccaneers is about as easy as they come.

Jay Cutler has been taking a lot of heat in Chicago, and some of it is deserved from an NFL perspective. He is now believed to be benched for Week 16, as the Bears are considering going in a different direction. Jimmy Clausen will start for the Bears against the Detroit Lions.

When Johnny Manziel admits that he had a bad game, then you know it must have been atrocious. We are not convinced that Manziel even finishes the game, and so he will sit as our 32nd QB for this week.

With that, let’s turn our attention to our Week 16 QB rankings.
