Week 15 Fantasy Football Rankings

I have to assume if you are reading my Week 15 Fantasy Football Rankings it is for two reasons.
1. You advanced in the playoffs (congratulations by the way)
2. You are a huge fan of my work, and Fakepigskin.com so you check in daily no matter what…..
Ok, so maybe number 2 is a stretch, but the fact that it is the playoffs, whether there are less readers or not, rankings can be even more important than they have been all season. With the news yesterday of Cam Newton‘s car accident and injury his not playing this week should not be a surprise to anyone. Nor should it be deemed a tragedy for your Fantasy teams. Is the timing, and potential impact rough? Sure. In the grand scheme though Newton is a very talented young athlete who had a very serious accident and injury. Your Fantasy teams simply don’t matter that much, not should they when it comes to an athletes health and well being.
I am guilty for panicking myself yesterday knowing in one league I will be starting Ryan Fitzpatrick. No FAAB left, no zero bids so I am stuck. If I lose, I lose. Just glad Cam is ok.
Enough ranting for now, let’s get in to the big week. If you are in a Cam situation there are options for those owners who didn’t corner themselves like I did. Johnny Manziel, and even Eli Manning are likely out on the wire this week and I like both of them to be solid replacements. If you are in fact a second option from above, I WOULDN’T recommend trying to be like me and using Fitzpatrick…..Unless you have no choice
Jamaal Charles if rest and treatment help him will be a top 3 back without a doubt and in a fantastic match up. If you haven’t already and Knile Davis is out there, I would snag him as a just in case. I will be watching his health closely as well throughout the rest of the week.
It’s playoffs, time to get nervous, be bold, but not too much and most importantly come out victorious! If you don’t, try not to let it ruin your day. There is always next season. In fact, if you are looking for a way to spice up your existing league, or perhaps create a new one you may want to consider reading my post on All-Play + Head to Head league format.
Good Luck this week everyone! Hope you will be reading this next week as well!
