Daily Fantasy Basketball Playbook – 12/3

John Wall

With 10 games going on tonight, you should have a lot of flexibility and choices with your line up. With some very juicy match ups, let’s just get right down to business. Which is what Alabama did to Auburn in the 2nd half Saturday night OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!! Okay sorry (no I’m not), had to do it.

Guards:

John Wall – $9,000

So if you’ve been paying attention to my picks so far this season, I usually go for value plays. I already know everyone gets one or two big expensive guys every night. Because, well, they’re safer plays and have obviously put up the best stats but I’m going to make Wall an exception. Over his past 6 games he’s averaging 17.2 PPG 9.3 APG 4.8 TRB 2.3 SPG .457 FG% .450 3P% and a solid .800 FT%. Tonight, he’s going against the Lakers. Yes, the same team giving up the most fantasy points in basketball right now.

Greivis Vasquez – $3,900

Annnnd here’s the value play. With DeMar DeRozan still out, Vasquez is getting a nice minutes bump and matches up with the Utah Jazz tonight, it’s not exactly going to be a defensive showdown. With the additional minutes, Vasquez will provide nice numbers in multiple categories and for a cheaper than usual price.

Forwards:

Zach Randolph – $7,800

Here’s another higher priced guy tonight but definitely worth the chunk of change. Randolph has been dominating lately with back to back double-doubles and has a low floor since he’s consistently bringing down rebounds and putting up points. Tonight he gets a banged up Houston squad without Dwight Howard and Terrence Jones, so look for the Grizzlies’ big men to eat tonight. Gasol is another good play here but will cost an additional $900. Considering Randolph should post the same or even higher numbers, why not save some coin?

Jabari Parker – $5,800

With Ersan Elyasova out tonight with a nasal fracture, Parker should continue his hot streak. Parker has scored in double figures in 8 out of his past 10 games, including 22 points last night, and has seen his minutes, rebounding, assists, and even steals totals all rise. Tonight he’s getting a tough Dallas squad but will have plenty of opportunities to post nice numbers.

Center:

Andre Drummond – $7,200

After the hot start over the past couple weeks, Drummond has cooled off a big. However, with a nice match up tonight against the Celtics I’m expecting a nice bounce back game. The rebounds and blocks will definitely be there so if we can get Drummond to knock down a couple more shots a game then we have a real nice play here. My poor Celtics have been struggling lately and an inside presence like Drummond should have his way in the paint.

As always, the salary numbers are from FanDuel. Good luck!
