Daily Fantasy Basketball Playbook – 11/21

Trey Burke

After a bare bones night of daily fantasy basketball, we are back in full swing tonight. We have 12 games to look forward to this evening, so there are plenty of options out there to fill your lineups. Vegas has the games pretty high scoring across the league, so that bares well for DFS. As usual, I’ll be giving you a list of guys to play at each position. All of my pricing is based off of DraftKings.

Guards

Isaiah Thomas ($5,600) – He hasn’t been getting the minutes lately, but that should change tonight against the Sixers. I like the price to take a shot on him and he can easily out produce his value against the worst team in the league.

Aaron Brooks ($3,800) – Everything I’ve read as of this writing is that Rose is out again. Things aren’t looking good for Kirk Hinrich to play either, so Brooks becomes a must play to get in the other big names.

Trey Burke ($5,500) – Burke is my number one guy at the position tonight. He has a great cheap price and has been playing 35+ minutes on a nightly basis. The Jazz will need scoring and he has an opportunity to step up in a big way.

Klay Thompson ($7,200) – He’s a little risky at this price, but Thompson has been draining some buckets lately. He’s had 32+ points in his last four games, and that streak should continue tonight.

Forwards

Nick Young ($3,600) – SwaggyP is back and he’s almost a must play tonight at this pricing. He’s super cheap and allows you to pay up for other big names tonight. Put some swag in your lineup.

Jeff Green ($6,600) – Call me crazy, but my guy is telling me Green is about to go off tonight. The Grizzlies will focus on Rondo and that should allow Green to get more isolated matchups. Plus. Tony Allen is banged up and so is Courtney Lee. The Grizz don’t have the best depth, so Green is worth the price tonight.

Shabazz Muhammad ($4,100) – I’m not a fan of Shabazz at all. Like not even a little bit…but he has a great opportunity to really have an impact tonight. With Rubio, Pekovic, and Martin all out for Minnesota, they need scoring to come from somewhere besides Wiggis. Shabazz can be that guy.

Anthony Davis ($11,300) – Do I really need to convince anyone to play the best fantasy player right now? Spend the money.

Centers

Gorgui Dieng ($6,500) – Remember how I said Shabazz is a solid play because of nobody else being healthy? Same applies to Dieng. He’s not the cheapest option, but should be a lock for a double-double.

Jordan Hill ($6,400) – There’s just not a lot of value out there at the center position this season. Hill has posted great numbers so far, and has been averaging 30+ fantasy points over his last 10 games. That trend should continue tonight.

Brook Lopez ($6,700) – I think Lopez’s last game is an indicator of what to expect from him for the rest of the season. He’s finally getting his feet under him, and should continue to build on that performance.
