New York Jets’ Dawan Landry ready to explode in Week 10 DB Streaming

Dawan Landry is one of the bright spots in a very disappointing season for the Jets. He has shown a good instinct for tackle all season and his match-up against a confident running team should see him reap big fantasy production this week. Week 9 Summary:

Tyrann Mathieu, S, Arizona, (@DAL): 4 tackles, 1 assist, 1 pass defended, 1 interception.

Alterraun Verner, CB, Tampa Bay (@CLE): 4 tackles, 1 assist, 1 pass defended

Malcolm Jenkins, S, Philadelphia (@HOU): 2 tackles, 1 pass defended

Sean Smith, CB, Kansas City (v NYJ): 3 tackles, 1 pass defended

Week 10 Streaming Targets:

Dawan Landry, S, New York Jets (v PIT)

Everyone is talking about Ben Roethlisberger, and quite rightly after he’s thrown 12 TDs in 2 games. Do not underestimate the strength of their running game though, Le’Veon Bell, backed up by LeGarrette Blount, is turning defences and burning up the field. Even if the Jets linebackers can stop Bell, he rarely gets grounded by one player. Landry, working off the weak side, should be key in getting Bell and Blount onto the turf. Prediction: 7 tackles, 6 assists, 1 pass defended, INT Chance: 10%

Philadelphia Eagles v Arizona Cardinals

Antoine Cason, CB, Carolina (@PHI)

With Nick Foles hurt for around a month, Mark Sanchez takes over at quarterback in Philly, and I for one haven’t forgotten how badly his last few years have been. You can point to all sorts of excuses, but Mark Sanchez’s first season with New York has proved to be the exception rather than the rule. This week he faces off in the Monday Night Football matchup against the Panthers, with the secondary lead by Antoine Cason, who has had a poor run of games since he last featured in this section. However his interception chance is obviously higher than average this week and he’s a risky start with a high ceiling. Prediction: 4 tackles, 2 assists, 1 pass defended, INT Chance: 25%

Antonio Cromartie, CB, Arizona (v STL)

The Cro’s nest is alive and well in the desert, with Cromartie snagging 3 picks in the last two games. He’s also averaging just over one pass defended per game. A guy who can consistently get his hands on the ball is going to relish playing a rookie QB like Austin Davis. I like Davis but he does make some poor decisions when under pressure. The Cardinals will be able to generate pressure with Calais Campbell back after a spell on the side lines and one of  Davis’ errant throws might land in Cromartie’s lap.  Prediction: 4 tackles, 3 assists, 2 passes defended. INT Chance: 20%

Mike Mitchell, S, Pittsburgh Steelers (@ NYJ)

This week, Mike Mitchell lines up against a Jets team that’s reeling. Unsure which QB can lead them and focusing on establishing the run without a true lead back, the Jets are ripe for picking …  and tackling, and sacking. Prediction: 8 tackles, 3 assists INT Chance: 15%

Good luck this week in your fantasy match-ups, keep streaming!
