Yaya Toure, Manchester City – MID

Returning to action after suffering a groin injury that potentially could have ended his season, Toure fueled a 2-0 victory over a hot Crystal Palace club. The win not only effectively ended a 5 match streak by Palace, but also put City right back into the drivers seat for the EPL title after Liverpool’s loss only hours earlier. Edin Dzeko picked up the 1st goal just 4 minutes in, heading home a well-placed cross from Toure. City’s lead was then doubled when Toure made a beautiful run before placing a shot into the upper left corner.
