Kevin Mirallas, Everton – Midfielder

Looking to keep pace with Arsenal in the battle for 4th place in the table, Everton played their game in hand on Wednesday when they hosted a hot Crystal Palace club at Goodison Park. Trailing 0-1 into the second half, Everton conceded a second goal before Steven Naismith finally put The Toffees on the board in the 61st minute. Palace’s Cameron Jerome netted the eventual match-winner, but Mirallas gave Everton hope of a draw when he scored with 4 minutes remaining. Everton now need help from Arsenal in the form of a loss to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
