Daily Fantasy Basketball Notes 4/2

Wednesday night has been my favorite and most profitable day of the week lately. Last two weeks, I swept the board both Wednesday nights, including 2 seconds in the very prestige Swagdome tournament. I am looking to continue the roll tonight with a full slate of exciting NBA action. Only 2 of the 13 games have double digit spreads, and 3 games have totals over 210 points. Tonight’s slate is shaping up to be another night of close, competitive, and high scoring games. My love for DFS grows even stronger when I see a full slate of games like with very few double digit spreads and the potential for some real high scoring games. Tonight, I have tons of value players to help you have another successful evening.

My strategy for weeks has really been paying off lately. My teams have been averaging around 285 fantasy points a night, with a high of 325 fantasy points on Monday. You can be successful more times then not by stacking your lineup with a more balanced team then trying to go with a lineup of one or two high priced studs. In fact, tonight’s starts for three players cost a total of $17,500. This leaves you with a whopping $32,500 left for five players to build your team. The strategy has been a proven success having five top seven finishes, including three second place finishes out of nineteen games in the inaugural Swagdome tournament. Making a profit in DFS is what it is all about. So hop aboard for a smooth ride to the winners circle tonight.

Lets keep filling our pockets with extra vitamin C tonight. Tonight play these three value players and expect some extra green in your pockets. All prices listed are according to Draft Kings $50,000 salary daily league.

Players To Start:

Henry Sims – $4,900 –  Henry has really been giving you some nice fantasy points for a big man at a very cheap price. Over last six games, he has averaged 14.5 PPG, 9 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1 SPG, and .5 BPG. Getting numbers like this with a price under 5K is amazing.  Henry seems to be getting even better as the year is closing out, which is great news for us. I expect his numbers to even get better in the final weeks of the season. Oh Henry is one candy bar I will be enjoying tonight.

Ray McCallum – $5,000 – Ray has been on fire since IT2 went down with an injury. He has helped me cash in his last 4 games. His price was at $4,300 while scoring way over 40 fantasy points. He was producing stud like numbers at bottom of the basement prices. Over last four games he has been averaging 15 PPG, 7 APG, 4.5 RPG, and 1 SPG, while averaging an insane 45 minutes a game. I know IT2 is itching to get back real soon, however, I do expect Ray to still play around 30 minutes a game. The King fans love this guy and I could see him running IT2 right out of town. You will be yelling “Hip Hip Hooray” if you start him tonight.

DeAndre Jordan – $7,600 – Jordan has been playing great all season, however, has even stepped up his game more lately. Over his last seven games, has had double digit rebounds. Not to mention, over last three games he is averaging 16 PPG, 17 RPG, and 3.5 BPG. No Blake Griffin makes him an even better play as well. Last game without him, he had 24 rebounds, 11 points, and 4 blocks. Blake is questionable at best tonight, and even if he does play I still love Andre “THE GIANT”.

Players To Sit:

Demarre Carroll – $4,600 – Carroll is a very inconsistent player, and tonight he gets one of the best defenses in basketball.  That alone makes him a sit for me. Furthmore,  over last six games he is averaging only 12 PPG, 5 RPG, and 1.5 APG. The only thing good about Carroll is his price. Unfortunately, price doesnt get you to winners circle if you dont produce. You won’t be a star if you play Demarre.

Khris Middleton – $4,100 - Very hard to trust any Buck players because they have one of the worst coaches in the NBA. Now he gets to play against a very good defensive team in the Heat. Furthmore, over last six games he is averaging a pathetic 10 PPG, 3 RPG, and 1.5 APG. You will be taking a back seat if you play Middleton against the Heat!

Andre Iguodala – $5,300 –  Iggy has been a major bust all season. He just doesn’t seem to fit with Golden State. His price is dropping quicker then when the stock market crashed a few years ago. Since Iggy came back from Injury two games ago, he is averaging a very pathetic 8.5 PPG, 3 RPG, and 3 APG. To add insult to injury, he is playing the hottest team in the NBA tonight. This is going to be another ugly game for Iggy. Stay far away from him.
