Daily Fantasy Basketball Notes 2/25

I’m going to be honest here about tonight: looking at all seven games, there isn’t one game that intimidates me. When studying the matchups and all the stats, no particular player stuck out to me as someone to pass on. I love giving some starts and sits, but I’m not going to grasp at straws just to recommend sitting someone.

So with that being said, I am not going to give players to sit tonight. With all the injuries pilling up, just check to make sure you’re guys aren’t game-time decisions. There’s still a ton of value to be found in daily play tonight with four games over the 210 mark. Good luck, and allons-y with my picks:

Start ‘Em

Higher priced guys I like

Kyle Lowry ($8,400) vs the Cavs – It seems that every time I write an article, I always rave about Lowry and his game. It’s true, I do sing the praises of the guy, but he has earned it. He’s averaging over 40 fantasy points in his last ten games. Cleveland is bottom five defensively against guards, and gave up over 40 fantasy points to Lowry last time they played. Don’t be surprised if he puts up somewhere in the 50’s tonight.

Nikola Vucevic ($7,500) vs the Wizards – Vucevic is a double-double machine. The one thing I love about this guy is his consistency to grab boards on both ends of the court. While he may not be the most athletic player on the team, he has been the most consistent for the Magic. Washington will be without Nene, so Vucevic will be the biggest benefactor from one less big body down low.

Cheaper plays I like

DeMarre Carroll ($4,000) vs the Bulls – The Bulls have been nothing short of spectacular this season on defense. Considering all the injuries they have been dealing with, that is an outright miracle. I know Carroll isn’t exactly an offensive machine, but his value tonight is simply too good to pass up. With Millsap, Ayon, Antic, and Horford being out, their isn’t many other options for the Hawks. Honestly, I don’t know how they’re going to have any form of rotation tonight. But Carroll is coming off a 37 fantasy point night, so hopefully he carries that over.

Thomas Robinson ($3,400) vs the Nuggets – LMA will be sitting out tonight, and it’s all up to Robinson how much he wants to shine. He had a 14/18 night against the Timberwolves on Sunday, so he is capable of putting up the numbers for a great play. He is still young and unproven, but Denver’s backcourt is one of the worst in the league defensively. TRob has a great opportunity to outplay his value, and make you shine in your leagues tonight.
