Fantasy Basketball Notes 1/21

Tonight I am going to keep things short and sweet. We only have five games on the books tonight. Let’s just dive right in and allons-y with my picks:

Start ‘Em

Brian Roberts vs Kings – Even if there were more games tonight, I still believe Roberts would be my guy. He has done a more than solid job of filling in for Jrue Holiday. The Kings are a terrible defensive team against the point as well, so  don’t be surprised if Roberts has a 15/7 game. The more minutes he gets, the better his play will be.

Kevin Love vs Jazz – Since there are only five games tonight, it’s hard to make a lineup without have big names guys in there. My reason for picking Love is that there are only two players who average over fifty fantasy points a game: Love and KD. The reason I picked Love is simply because he was the cheaper of the two options. I think both guys are great plays tonight, but the better price for similar value, I’m going with Love.

Sit ‘Em

Any Orlando Magic Player vs Nets – I never would have predicted this kind of turn around for Brooklyn so quickly. They’ve only lost one game so far this month, and they have been the best defensive team in the league the past two weeks. Not to mention that the Magic have only won three games on the road so far this season. Brooklyn has just been too good to bet against, and I’m not touching the Magic tonight if I can help it.
