Daily Fantasy Basketball Notes 12/25

Five games on the NBA slate for Xmas day. Largest point spread is eight points.  Expect another competitive day of hoops. Having such close point spreads is usually music to fantasy owners ears. You want to know that your starters play all four quarters and give you 35 plus minutes a game. 35 plus minutes a game for your starters usually mean another successful night in the world of fantasy basketball. The fantasy preacher is on his high horse again this week preaching a few key value players stacked with your studs usually equal a profitable day. Today’s slate of games offer this. Since you probably spent all your cash on xmas,  today is the day to refuel.

Xmas is the day of giving, and I plan on taking you back to your childhood when you couldn’t wait to wake up and see what was under the xmas tree. Under the fantasy tree this week will be plenty of gifts in the form of must starts and must sits. Tonight’s start and sits will help us keep the xmas spirit alive and kicking. All prices listed,  are according to DraftStreet $100,000 salary daily leagues.

Players To Start:

David Lee – $16,891 – Lee been on quite the roll over last seven games, avaveraging 22 PPG, and 12 RPG. Against the Clippers he is averaging 18 PPG, 4 APG, 11 RPG, 1 SPG, and 1 BPG. Furthermore,  he is averaging 20 PPG, 3 APG, 10 RPG, 1 SPG, and 1 BPG at home as well. Lee is definitely one of the gifts you hope to unwrap xmas day.

Dwyane Wade – $16,270 – Wade is one of the hottest players on the planet now. His amazing play this week earned him Eastern Conference player of the week. Over last 5 games Wade played, he averaged 24 PPG, 4 APG, 5 RPG, and 2 SPG. Also, he loves playing against the Lakers averaging 24 PPG, 7 APG, 5 RPG, 2 SPG, and 1 BPG. Wade will be the  xmas gift that keeps giving.

Andrew Bogut – $15,567 – Bogut has been playing very well lately. Over last seven games he is averaging 9 PPG, 15 RPG, 3 BPG, and 1 BPG. Against the Clippers he is averaging 15 PPG, 9 RPG, 3 BPG, and 1 SPG. He has great value and should produce fantastic numbers why saving you a ton of money.

Xmas Bonus Players To Start:

Tony Parker – $14,304 – Over last five games, Tony is averaging 21 PPG, 7 APG, 3 RPG, and 1 SPG. Against Houston he is averaging 23 PPG, 8 APG, 5 RPG, 2 SPG, and 1 BPG.

Russell Westbrook – $18,888 – Russell is averaging 26 PPG, 7 APG, 2 SPG, and 1 BPG against the Knicks. Even more appealing, away from home he is averaging 23 PPG, 7 APG, 6 RPG, and 2 SPG.

Players To Sit:

Klay Thompson – $10,560 – Klay has been in a major slump lately.  Over last seven games he is averaging a pathetic 15 PPG, 3 RPG, 3 APG, and 3 plus turnovers as well.  Against the Clippers he is averaging only 13 PPG, 2 APG, 3 RPG,  and 1 SPG.  Don’t expect any xmas miracle from Klay.

Paul Pierce – $14,962 – When you talk about slumping players Pierce will always be in the discussion. Over last seven games he is averaging a paltry 13 PPG, 5 RPG, 3 APG,  and 3 turnovers per game. His numbers at home stink as well, averaging 12 PPG, 3 APG, and 5 RPG. Against the Bulls not much better, averaging 15 PPG, 3 APG, 5 RPG and 1 SPG. This is no Bull! Sit PP.

Serge Ibaka – $13,957 – Serge has been very inconsistent lately.  Over last eight games he has five double double games, and has three games where he avaveraged a paltry 6 PPG and 4 RPG. His total numbers average 11 PPG and 7 RPG over last eight games. Finally,  against the Knicks he averages 8 PPG, 8 RPG, and 3 BPG. If you start Serge, expect your team to Serge out of the money very quick. Don’t splurge on Serge!
