Daily Fantasy Basketball Notes 12/11

Nine games on the NBA slate tonight.  Only two of the nine games have spreads above ten points. Expect another night of close, exciting games.  The Dallas/Golden State game should be a very high scoring tilt based on their total of 210 points. I have been preaching for weeks now, the key to daily leagues is finding great value players to stack around your stud players.

Wednesday nights have been my favorite and most successful day of the week. With my concept of finding value players and surrounding them with studs, I expect tonight to be another winning night. Tonight’s start and sits will help us keep the good times rolling.  All prices listed are according to DraftStreet $100,000 salary daily leagues.

Players To Start:

DeMarcus Cousins – $19,345 – DeMarcus is becoming the top center in the NBA. He has been in beast mode this year. Away from home, he is averaging 22 PPG, 11RPG,  3 APG,  2 SPG, and 1 BPG. Furthermore, against Utah he is averaging 19 PPG, 12 RPG, 4 APG, 2 SPG, and 2 BPG. Cousins is one of the more expensive players that is worth every penny day in and day out.

Dirk Nowitzki – $15,672 - Dirk has been drinking from the fountain of youth this year. Over last three games, he is averaging over 45 fantasy points a game, and the last six out of seven games he has produced over 30 fantasy points a game. Last time playing Golden State he had almost 40 fantasy points.  Dirk is a much cheaper option than Melo or Love and will produce similar fantasy numbers. Savings with Dirk will help you secure another quality player.

Kemba Walker – $13,561 – Kemba has been hot like a pistol. He is averaging over 40 fantasy points a game the last four games. Interestingly enough, in the last four games versus Orlando, he is putting up an insane 29 PPG, 5 RPG, 7 APG, and 2 SPG. Additionally, in two home contests last year against Orlando, he averaged a mind blowing 55 fantasy points. Kemba will help lead your team to fantasy gold tonight.

Players To Sit:

Andrea Bargnani – $12,631 – Andrea is on the second game of a back-to-back.  Andrea looked very bad last night,  and now must play a very good defensive Bulls team. At home he averages a pathetic 12 PPG, 1 APG, 4 RPG, 1 SPG, and 1 BPG. These numbers are 5 PPG, 2 APG, and 2 RPG less then he averages on the road.  All signs point towards a very weak showing for Andrea tonight.

Gordon Hayward – $12,287 –  Gordon has been in a major slump all year. Now he faces the Kings where he is averaging a pathetic 13 PPG, 3 APG, and 3 RPG. Over his last ten games, he has only reached 20 points or more twice, and only double digit assists once. Hayward’s new name should be dead ward.  He is a player to sit until further notice.

OJ Mayo – $9,167 – OJ was a sit for me last week as well. Things just don’t seem to be clicking with him at all. Now he plays one of the best defensive teams in the league. Against Spurs he is averaging a miserable 13 PPG, 2 APG, 3 RPG and 1 SPG. Don’t let his low price fool you. This is one case where their isn’t a value play because of his low price.  OJ won’t be delivering any Mayo tonight.
