Week 8 Injury Round-Up

Sunday is almost here and that means it’s time to check in those NFL injuries that will impact your fantasy team the most. Last week was a nightmare for fantasy owners everywhere, with players from Jay Cutler to Doug Martin to Reggie Wayne all going down with significant injuries. That being said, let’s dive into the latest injury updates.

Cecil Shorts is set to play Sunday in London against the 49ers, plug him in your lineup if you believe he’s gonna put up some stats during garbage time…Blaine Gabbert is healthy, but it doesn’t matter: Chad Henne will get the start…Dwayne Bowe aggravated his groin injury Thursday, and missed practice again Friday. Even if he does play, a limited Bowe against Joe Haden is bench worthy if he isn’t glued there already…Danny Amendola passed all concussion tests, and while he is listed as Questionable, I fully expect him to play…Jimmy Graham is a true game-time decision, so we won’t know how his foot feels until right before their 1PM EST game, if he plays then I’d be hard pressed benching him even if he’s not 100%…CJ Spiller is doubtful due to a bum ankle, but Fred Jackson will be good to go…DeMarco Murray is expected to play Sunday as well as Calvin Johnson and Dez Bryant. If Murray goes, he’s likely to get the majority of the work…Brandon Jacobs is going to miss Sunday’s game, which gives Peyton Hillis his first start since 2011…Mike Vick will start for the Eagles with Nick Foles out with a concussion…Roddy White is already deemed out but Steven Jackson will play…Rashard Mendenhall is doubtful which means Andre Ellington will get the start for the Cardinals…Percy Harvin will NOT make his 2013 debut for the Seahawks in week 8…
